REPOSITIONING
After the departure of an anchor tenant from an asset in Frankfurt's Europaviertel, the property was fundamentally repositioned on the market. Away from the single-tenant and towards the multi-tenant strategy. As part of the restructuring, the creation of a charging infrastructure in the underground garage was also desired as a marketing instrument. In addition, the generous roof areas should be evaluated for the use of photovoltaics. As part of its consulting service, SPARK laid the foundation for budgeting the measures and developed a comprehensive usage concept. The aim was to include and evaluate the complex electrical infrastructure in the analysis. As a result, the customer received a tangible, implementable concept for its ESG measures and was already able to win over the first tenants for the property who want to use a charging station.
TENANT DEMAND CHARGING STATION
The tenants of a property in Frankfurt's Ostend do not want to miss the comfort of a charging station in the office. As a consequence, SPARK was commissioned by the asset management to analyze the property. Our potential analysis provides the basis for the usage concept and creates cost certainty. The aim was to take into account the local conditions, in particular the radiology located in the property. Once again, it has been shown that an individual consideration of the property is necessary for the implementation of charging infrastructure. As part of the installation, the courtyard of the properties is to be equipped with charging stations in a circular fashion. Charging for employees is taken into account in SPARK's operating concept, as is billing to external parties such as customers or guests.
EXISTING TENANT ESG STRATEGY
An importer of fruit and vegetables from Europe and overseas is converting its entire value chain to CO2 neutrality. The company's own vehicle fleet must not be missing here! SPARK has thoroughly checked the historical office property for the landlord and determined a robust feasibility for the construction of a charging infrastructure. In a next step, the customer decided on the Charging as a Service model, in which the charging stations including all services are rented from SPARK. The ownership and thus all risks remain with SPARK. The customer paid particular attention to a granulated and calibration law-compliant billability of all charging processes. In addition, he receives an annual e-mobility report for his ESG rating. Only the 360° service from SPARK could offer this to this extent. The charging infrastructure was manufactured taking into account CO2 neutrality: only high-quality components were installed. The charging stations have been produced in a CO2-neutral manner. Last but not least, the SPARK project team refrained from CO2-intensive travel. It doesn't get more CO2-neutral than that!
