Why does SPARK exist? The spark (SPARK) ignited in 2019.
A local energy provider was unable to implement a cost-efficient and calibration law-compliant charging station for a tenant of an office property. Furthermore, the charging station needed to enable the AutoCharge function, which was important to the tenant but not standard at the time.
A "supply gap" emerged. Specifically, this meant that the tenant's electric car was in the underground garage with 0% battery charge, and they asked us for help.
A quick and well-conceived solution was needed. The goal was to establish a modern, calibration law-compliant charging infrastructure and an operation where every charging process could be recorded and billed at the employee and company car level. This tenant became our first customer. The idea for SPARK was born.
WE ARE MARIUS AND STEPHAN – PROFESSIONALS IN ASSET MANAGEMENT AND PROJECT DEVELOPMENT, AND THE LEADERSHIP DUO OF SPARK. WE UNDERSTAND THE INTERESTS OF LANDLORDS AS WELL AS THE CONCERNS OF TENANTS AND THEIR CUSTOMERS.
Stephan founded Spark Charging Solutions GmbH in May 2021 in Hamburg. A year later, Marius decided to complement the company with his expertise. The two university friends have since worked side-by-side as co-leaders. Our goal: the best e-mobility product for professional landlords and tenants.
As professionals in asset management and project development, we combine our many years of professional experience at SPARK. We pass on our spirit and a genuine hands-on mentality to our team and partners.
We understand the needs of owners, tenants, and asset management, implement projects on time and within budget, and see ourselves as active shapers of the mobility transition. As a service provider, we make (almost) everything possible – our motivation is the satisfaction of our customers.
